Dr. Anjie has totally changed my quality of life. Initially, I went to her to treat my sciatica and severe back pain. After one acupuncture session I was standing straight, there was no longer pain shooting down my leg and I could feel my toes. Dr. Anjie made some wonderful recommendations to manage the pain and at this point, my back no longer bothers me. In the process, she determined I was magnesium deficient which was also affecting my sleep and stress level. I rest peacefully and painlessly now. Dr. Anjie is an exceptional physician and the kind of general practitioner that is almost impossible to find anymore. I have been to many different doctors and specialists over the years, but was never able to get to the root cause of what was wrong (anxiety, sleep issues, fatigue, pain, brain fog, etc.) Dr. Anjie did a thorough intake during my first visit and then, recommended some functional diagnostic tests. She reviewed the results with me in a simple, easy to understand way. And, then, we tackled each issue one step at a time using an integrative approach, combining acupuncture, nutrition, herbs and appropriate supplements. She is very well versed in western medicine and balances this knowledge with herbs, supplements and oriental medicine techniques. She also knows about the most advanced functional medicine tests for hormonal balance, nutrient status, blood work, mold, and heavy metals. And, as an experienced Registered Nurse, she is able to do the blood draw for tests right in her office, which is very convenient. The results so far have been quite impressive. Totally professional, she asked the right questions and found the areas of pain immediately. She articulated the procedure clearly. I have elbow tendonitis in both elbows for about 10 years. Dr. Anjie is very caring, knowledgeable and helpful. During our session she got all the spots that were sore without me telling her where they were. I was super impressed by that! After only one session I felt the pain decreased significantly.
